We operate across the North-West region, including Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Bolton, Cumbria, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. In addition, we offer nationwide support through our virtual drop‑in consultations for professionals and parents.
We are a family run educational psychology and support service, dedicated to helping children and young people grow, learn and reach their full potential.
Through applying psychological knowledge, practical advice and evidence based interventions, we create innovative solutions that remove barriers to learning across all areas of special educational need, whether at whole setting, group or individual level.
Our support includes tailored psychological advice and action plans for children and young people, training and coaching for staff, targeted project work on key areas of need and whole setting development initiatives.
WHO WE ARE
Our team is made up of Educational Psychologists, Assistant Educational Psychologists and Specialist Teachers.
At the heart of our work are the strong relationships we build with schools, children and families, which underpin our approach and values.
OUR SERVICES
OUR APPROACH AND VALUES
OUR APPROACH
We believe that strong, trusting relationships between educational, health and care settings, families and communities are the foundation for children and young people to thrive. Rooted in collaboration with teaching staff, other professionals and families, our caring and friendly support empowers every child and young person to achieve positive outcomes and thrive in every aspect of their lives.
As a family‑run service, our vision and values are naturally aligned, enabling us to provide a consistent approach built on continuity of relationships. Schools and settings can be assured of working with the same psychologist or specialist professional within our team, removing the need to re‑establish relationships or ways of working. Where needed, collaborative working between psychologists or specialists is also available, giving schools access to project‑based support and the collective expertise of our team across areas of applied psychology.
Most importantly, being family‑run means our service is personal and relational. We treat schools, families and other professionals we work with as part of our extended team, fostering a genuine sense of belonging and partnership with everyone.
OUR CORE VALUES
To provide collaborative support and care
We prioritise strong connections with families and professional settings, working collaboratively with schools, health and care staff to co‑create solutions that foster positive outcomes for children and young people. Alongside this, we provide a warm, friendly and personal service that nurtures genuine belonging and builds lasting partnerships with everyone we support.
01
To provide continuity of support
We provide long-term continuity of our services, so we build professional relationships which last, ensuring stability and trust for every professional setting and family we support.
02
To embed a person-centred approach
We provide services which embrace inclusion, celebrate diversity and create environments where every child, family and professional feels valued and respected.
Our work is guided by recognising the uniqueness of each child and young person. We take time to understand their individual needs, strengths and challenges, and plan support around them. By tailoring our approach in this way, we ensure interventions are meaningful, responsive and designed to foster positive outcomes in learning, well‑being and development.
03
To empower others through our expertise
We provide access to the collective knowledge of our team, offering both depth and breadth of skills in applied psychology. Our practice is grounded in evidence‑based practice and strengths‑focused approaches. We continually invest in our professional knowledge and skills, evolving our expertise in response to current needs, ensuring we provide the most relevant psychological support.
04
To advocate for everyone
We champion the voices of children and young people, ensuring their opinions and involvement shape the decisions that affect them. At the same time, we empower the adults around them with the confidence, knowledge and insight needed to create positive and lasting change.
